by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Uncork the vino! The 2013 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winners have been revealed, and we’re guessing some serious rounds of libations are in order. Tome, the NYC-based brainchild of stylist Ryan Lobo and former Derek Lam design director Ramon Martin, took home top honors for women’s design while Ian Velardi, purveyor of neo-Americano menswear, scooped up best men’s design. Meanwhile, Cornell-educated Susan Woo scored kudos for sustainable design, and Deborah Pagani, known for her deco-rock baubles, secured the win for accessories design. Each winner will receive a $25,000 grant to use toward a New York Fashion Week presentation in February.

The Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation was established in 2001 to support emerging talent in the fashion industry. Judges include Ken Downing, Julie Gilhart, Sally Singer, Marylou Luther, Nicole Fischelis, Josh Peskowitz, Jay Bell, Kim Hastreiter, Alex Badia, and Ruth Finley. Thus far, the organization has gifted a total of $1.7 million to talent like Prabal Gurung, Alexander Wang, Zac Posen, Rodarte, and Proenza Schouler.
