E! is planning to be the omnipresent news source for the Met Gala this year, and for the first time is taking its signature “Live From the Red Carpet” to the annual affair, reporting on air, online, and on social. The entertainment network kicks off coverage on May 2 with Maria Menounos and Jason Kennedy for E! News reporting on breaking news, behind-the-scenes scoop, and celebrity interviews at 7 p.m. Following the segment, Giuliana Rancic, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Olivia Culpo, and celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek will give a live breakdown of the red carpet looks, and Catt Sadler and Zuri Hall will report in with onsite celebrity interviews. Brittany Hampton will be on social media duty with live video updates on E!’s Facebook page.

It doesn’t end there! The following day, “Live From E!” will review the trending stories from the gala on the E! News Facebook Live page and at eonline.com.  The coverage bonanza concludes with the requisite “Fashion Police” recap of the red carpet hits and disasters from Melissa Rivers, Brad Goreski, Margaret Cho, NeNe Leakes, and Tim Gunn at 8. Looks like they’ve got this under control!
