She’s gone graphic. At DKNY this season, short dresses were layered with calf-length skirts and paired with platform sneakers. The sum of those parts oozed street cred. While recent seasons have fixated on the ’90s in many respects, the kooky, clash-y hues and bright patterns at play this time around felt a little more vintage (of the ’80s variety, to be precise). And it probably goes without saying that this is one show we’re really not too surprised to see sneakers at. Meanwhile, those daring color combos added an extra dose of youthful energy. Not like Donna needs any extra!
