DKNY Men’s Garry Martin isn’t reinventing the wheel this season, but he’s on a mission to massively overhaul the wardrobes of urban-dwelling hommes. To wit: Athletic details being infused into classically formal pieces, like a bottle-green blazer in a stretch fabric or a pea coat in a tech-bonded material with sleek little buttons. “This is what guys want now, they want new silhouettes,” said Martin. These new shapes included a pair of cropped sweatpants with blazers for a very cool, yet still office-apropos look. On the graphic front, there was a bonded sweatshirt with a smattering of black geometric stripes and a neoprene tee emblazoned with DKNY over and over. As for the key layering piece? That would be what Martin referred to as a roll-neck sweater, otherwise known as a turtleneck. Ideally for the chilly temps du moment…
