Diane von Furstenberg To Open Store At Brookfield Place

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Diane von Furstenberg is the latest designer to sign on to open shop at lower Manhattan’s Brookfield Place. The 250,000-square-foot mall, which will take $250 million to develop, is the site of the former World Financial Center. Also opening up in lower Manhattan is the Westfield World Trade Center retail development, which boasts 440,000 square feet of shopping-ready space.

However, Brookfield’s focus will be on the luxury and contemporary sector, and DvF will be joining the likes of Hermes, Burberry, Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Ermenegildo Zegna, Theory, Scoop, and Calypso St. Barth in the retail space, to name a few. DvF’s 2,000-square-foot store will be located in the courtyard next to Michael Kors and across from Theory. Brookfield Place is scheduled to open in March 2015.
