David Yurman Gets Colorful for the Holidays

by Eddie Roche

David Yurman turns to two of fashion’s It girls for its upcoming Holiday campaign, with returning champ Kate Moss and newbie Anna Ewers all smiles for the camera. The campaign is a bit of a milestone for the luxury jewelry line, as it’s the first time they’ve ever shot in color and marks more than 10 years with Moss. Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott shot the campaign, while legendary stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele put the girls in pavé gemstone designs and 18k gold pieces.

“Our objective for this campaign is to extend the language of jewelry and the expression of artistry,” Sybil Yurman, co-founder of David Yurman, explained. “We wanted the imagery and the introduction of color to evoke joy, lightness, and life. It had to have a spirit of playfulness yet sophistication, and signal empowerment and confidence. The layering of jewelry and the distinct style speaks to our unconventional perspective and personality.”
