Daft Punk Covers L'Uomo Vogue

by The Daily Front Row

Don’t tell R2-D2! Daft Punk get lucky covering the latest issue of L’Uomo Vogue with a fashion spread and rare interview inside. The mysterious French robots better known as Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Chriso weigh in on the song of summer “Get Lucky”: “It’s live, feel good music coming from a place above the grid journalists and record stores use to categorize sound,” Bangalter maintains. “Some people might see this as a step backward to another time, but for us making dance music today, but with live musicians and replacing drum machines with a live drummer and computer sounds with live guitars was audacious because no one else is doing that right now.” Oh, dear.
