The winning streak continues for Condé Nast Traveler, who have just announced that the title will be two inches bigger when their September issue hits stands later this year. Over the weekend The New York Times paid special attention to their growth in a story titled ‘Condé Nast Traveler Grows Voluptuous in Lean Times,’ which focused in on their increase in luxury advertising. “It’s going to feel like the luxury product that it is,” Bill Wackermann, CNT’s publisher told The Times. “What do you get in first class? You get more space.” To celebrate this growth spurt, they’ve created a cheeky video detailing what a two inch increase can mean. They’ve even enlisted fashion icon Iris Apfel to add her two cents on two inches in the short vid. We’ll likely be hearing a lot from Apfel in the next few weeks with her documentary, Iris, by the late Albert Maysles finally hitting movie theaters on April 29th.
