Coach Slated To Show Its Men’s Collection In London

by Alexandra Ilyashov

Coach is bringing its hommes’ looks across the pond next month. On January 9, the brand’s executive creative director, Stuart Vevers, will make his menswear debut at London Collections: Men. Expect a full spate of RTW looks, which will be punctuated with ample accessories (of course), including leather pieces, shoes and even jewelry.

At the moment, Coach’s offerings for the blokes are limited to knits and outerwear, according to WWDLast November, the label added men’s watches to the mix; this fall, men’s footwear made its debut. Currently, approximately 14 percent, or $700 million, of Coach’s annual sales come from its men’s offerings.

London Collections: Men aims “to showcase the breadth of British fashion talent,” which makes Coach an interesting addition to the lineup given its overt American heritage angle, though Vevers is indeed British. Coach will show on the opening day of the British Fashion Council-organized slew of men’s shows, which will conclude on January 15.
