Headed to the East End this weekend? Take a minute to stop by c/o The Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton to check out their latest exhibition from the personal collection of owner Jenny Ljungberg. The collection, which launched last weekend, consists of works by artists Sam Taylor-Johnson, Bruno Ehrs, David Lynch, Richard Misrach, Frank Horvat, and more, and was curated by Ljungberg, who divides her time between East Hampton, NYC, Los Angeles, and Stockholm. “It’s a pleasure to bring art from my private collection into the gathering places in our hotel,” Ljungberg explained. “I have collected these pieces throughout my career and what had previously been confined to my own home and some of our hotel rooms, can now be fully enjoyed by the public.” c/o The Maidstone is the only design and lifestyle hotel in East Hampton, complete with 19 individually-designed rooms. Can’t stop by this weekend? The collection will be up all summer in the hotel’s main areas as well as The Living Room restaurant.
