Christopher Kane Fall 2015

by Paige Reddinger

Warning: This collection is NSFW (but not in the Rick Owens way, darlings!). Christopher Kane got a little kinky for Fall, sending out tunic tops and dresses, pieced together with drawings of nude male and female bodies in steamy embraces and various sexual positions. Even the print on a wispy, ladylike white skirt and dress was, upon closer inspection, a mélange of limbs and breasts. Expect some brave women to wear these to cocktail parties come Fall. Quite the conversation starter, non?

For less-daring types who still want to make a statement, a pink crocodile skirt paired with a giraffe-print angora sweater should do the trick. We imagine that look will be flying off the racks. If you’re boardroom-ready with a bit of flair, check out the tailored suit jackets with blue and red velvet lapels and pockets. A cut-out black coat dress had just the right amount of sex appeal and eye-catching zig-zag patterned coats and dresses to set fearless chicettes’ hearts racing. Mercifully, this felt unlike any other collection on the runways thus far.
