Chanel Heads To Colorado While Balenciaga Takes Texas

Both Chanel and Balenciaga have new shops opening up stateside, and they’re not in the standard-issue bicoastal metropolises: Alexander Wang is bringing his luxe Balenciaga threads to Highland Park Village, where neighboring shops include Dior, Tory Burch, and Jimmy Choo. Yuu better believe that the new shop has been given the Ryan Korban’s décor treatment, resulting in plenty of marble surfaces interspersed with mirrored chrome and touches of forest-green suede. Which leads us to Chanel, who presented their Métiers d’Arts show in Dallas this past December. They’re popping up, albeit very briefly, in Aspen from June 27th until July 6th. The space will have a decidedly Western vibe, with fringed duds merchandised among the frontier-esque décor. Calling all interlocking-C obsessed ski bunnies…
