Carolina Herrera Pairs Up With Ari Dein To Debut Sleepwear

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Rarely spotted without her signature crisp, white button-down shirt, Carolina Herrera is as esteemed for her namesake label as she is for her spotless personal style. Now, in addition to her main label and the lower-priced CH Carolina Herrera line, the Venezuelan-American designer will launch a sleepwear capsule collection that fits with her style aesthetic. Nary a pair of sweatpants or ill-fitting T are in the mix for the three-silhouette partnership with Arielle Shapiro, designer of Ari Dein. Herrera’s up-and-coming collaborator has established her name through her high-end lingerie line, which was handpicked to join the CFDA’s 2014 Incubator program.

The fabric of choice for the luxe sleepwear? Solely silk charmeuse, including a ribbon-trimmed chemise, a camisole and boy short combo and a pajama set in a classic cut. Expect grosgrain ribbon detailing and only two color combinations: champagne with black, plus a navy and lavender pairing. The slumber-skewed pieces will be available in Herrera’s four stateside boutiques come November.
