Campaign Watch: Brioni

by The Daily Front Row

If we can indulge you in thinking about winter for just a second…New York artist Collier Schorr shot Brioni’s Fall/Winter campaign in Rigi, high above the Swiss lakes, historically known as the Queen of the Mountains. Schoor has some high praise for creative director Brendan Mullane who debuts his first collection for the brand: “When I met Brendan, it was as if a fully-formed genius had arrived on my doorstep,” he explains. “I opted for black and white because like Brioni, it transcends time and genre. It also suggests formality. Every posture becomes more elegant because of the reverberation from the past eras when glamour was beautiful and refined, less ostentatious. This trip to the mountains seemed a great way to show the silhouettes in contrast to the peaks.”
