Calvin Klein Collection’s Madison Avenue store is making room for a new addition in the next few weeks with a temporary floral shop setting up camp at their flagship digs. Artist Lauren Messelian, who has a history with the brand creating floral arrangements for their corporate offices and events, has created pieces that will be available in store now through December 24th. Messelian began her relationship with Calvin Klein in 1998 working with their visual department and legendary event planner Robert Isabell. She started her own business in 2001 with the brand as her first client and has become an industry favorite with clients such as Tods, Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, and Tory Buch. The limited edition shop features florals and greenery as portable living sculptures, uniting art and design. The edited offering includes a small succulent with stones boxed in an acrylic cube, a square glass vase with swirled tulips, and a selection of topiaries, and wreaths. The arrangements will be available on the main floor of the store from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Even floral shops need a day off.
