The holiday season is officially in full swing at downtown’s new luxury shopping precinct, Brookfield Place. Last night, BP unveiled Luminaries, an interactive lighting display and winter garden installation. In celebration of the spirit of giving, each hanging lantern lights up in a different color when guests make a wish at any of the stations scattered throughout BP. (By the way, for every wish made BP donates $1 to Grammy in the Schools, which supports the musical aspirations of high school students.) On the topic of musical prodigies, singer Meghan Trainor kicked off the festivities, along with the visionary behind the lighting creation, David RockwellNow what other reason do you need to get shopping? Oh, and Santa arrives for photo ops this Saturday.
