(NEW YORK) Brides is adding a new video vixen to its digital space with beauty blogger Michelle Phan being brought on board to produce content for the site. Phan has been tapped to produce two videos per month starting in May, which she will cross promote on her blog. While Phan’s blog is focused on beauty content with popular video tutorials on everything from creating the smoky eye look to using a spoon to apply mascara, the videos for Brides will not be solely targeted toward the beauty industry.
Phan’s website has already begun branching into the style category. Other tutorial-esque teachings on Phan’s site include: how she organizes her jewelry and belts (on a bust form), five ways to wear the buttoned-up white blouse, and which leather minis to buy (that includes a vegan option for the pro-PETA set). With Phan’s super star-size following of 3 million uniques per month, it looks like publisher, Michelle Meyers, is making all the right moves in the digital domain.
