Despite the fact that the U.S. Open is taking place a hop, skip, and a jump from fashion week, notorious tennis-focused label Lacoste had other sports in mind. First up was football. And we have to say, Felipe Oliveira Baptista‘s take on a game day jersey or field-side anorak would have us engrossed in the sport as well. Later on the collection moved over to sailing, with plenty of airy tulle layers and choppy angular hems that emulated the sails of a great ship. Straying from the sportswear theme, there were quite a few chic getups to consider: a light denim polo and a matching pair of flares, some prim and proper suiting options for ladies and gents, in hues of blues and greys.
