Altuzarra Spring 2015

by Daniel Chivu

What do you get when you mix Rosemary’s Baby, Moroccan blankets, Renaissance architecture, and deflated 18th-century dresses? Subtle, sexy brilliance on Altuzarra’s Spring runway. Expect to crave some gingham, based on the first few looks, and the B&W stripes that followed didn’t disappoint, either. The aforementioned blankets took shape in a couple silhouettes (a coat, some dresses, plus skirts). As for that Renaissance element: look no further than the leather latticework, a bit risque and sensual, as an Altuzarra showing unfailingly is. A triumph!
