All The Makings Of 'A Sure Shot'

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) The Tribeca Grand Hotel saw quite a bit of action last night for the screening of David M. Rosenthal’s backwoods thriller, A Single Shot. Hosted by The Cinema Society and Purity Vodka, the film, which kept movie-goers on the edge of their seats, also brought out all of the film’s stars, including Sam Rockwell, Jeffrey Wright, William H. Macy, and Kelly Reilly. This isn’t the first time Wright and Rockwell have acted together in a film. But Wright disclosed that “this is the first time we are working together without one of us getting beaten up.”

The red carpet was a bit of a grab bag, with Mark Sanchez making an appearance, as well as Kelly Rutherford, Alysia Reiner, and Nichole Galicia.  Each of the Fab Five members of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy reunited publicly for the first time since their show wrapped in 2007, just hours following the announcement of a Bravo reunion that’s in the works. But it was a full house for the film, with not a single seat left up for grabs once the lights dimmed.

The après-party was certainly the place to see and be seen, especially since it took place at Bar Nana. Fashion faves Prabal Gurung and Olivier Theyskens were out for the eve, in tuxedos, nonetheless. Attendees mingled at the hotspot, imbibing on Purity cocktails which were endowed with witty names such as Take The Money and Run and A Single Shot Martini. Also up for a party on a school night were Selby Drummond, Sophie Sumner, Charlotte Kidd, Heidi Bivens, Stephanie LaCava and Charlotte Ronson. All the makings to prove this was a sure shot for a good night!
