Addicted to Revenge? Join the club! Besides the salacious storylines, the show’s fashion fix provides lots to lust over. Costume designer Jill Ohanneson filled us in on the sartorial choices, and how, exactly, they craft an authentic feeling Hamptons show out on the West Coast…

How did you approach Hamptons fashion for the small screen?
These women are dressing more for each other than for the men in their lives. Other women are the ones who are going to really appreciate that Gucci bag or a pair of Louboutin heels.

What’s your styling M.O.?
I always go for sensual rather than overtly sexy.

How about the guys?
Men feel like they can wear color in the Hamptons! All of a sudden, there are purples and greens and yellows. Not just pastels, but deep emerald greens, cobalt blues, and reds.

Who wears what on the show?
Emily wears a lot of Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and Jason Wu. Victoria wears Dolce & Gabbana, Giambattista Valli, and Burberry. Nolan wears a lot of Tommy Hilfiger, Prada, Versace, Lacoste, and even some vintage pieces.

Do you have a favorite character to dress?
No, that’s so hard! If I only liked one character’s style, I’d get so bored. I couldn’t ask for better characters! Even Charlotte gets to wear high-end junior wear like Miss Dior.

Is it hard to film a Hamptons based show out in L.A.?
It’s trickiest for locations, but our incredible location manager found a couple beach areas with enough dunes. Then, the art department puts in fences and foliage to make it feel like the Hamptons!
