A Moment With…Jessica Hart at Victoria's Secret

by The Daily Front Row

Yesterday before the Victoria’s Secret show at the Armory, we grabbed the lovely Jessica Hart for a moment to find out how she was feeling, explore her mall past, and why she feels she’s on the right track. How are you feeling before the show?Pretty pumped. This is something you hope to be doing for most of the year. When it comes around, it feels pretty good. Nice! What’s your outfit like?I’m in the Pink section; it’s really cute. I have a little cap, headphones, and a balloon. It’s all very fun. How is this environment different than other shows? It’s a big press-related thing, so usually when we’re getting ready there aren’t as many cameras or people around. But that adds to the excitement. It’s such a huge production. Is there Victoria’s Secret in your native Australia? We’ve just started getting stores. We used to have to order it online or have somebody bring it back for us from the United States. Did you go to the mall growing up?I grew up outside of the city so the mall was what it was all about. Our closest one was in Doncaster. We called it “shopping land”. Were you a mall rat?No, I was more of a park rat because it was closer. It was a bit of a drive to get to the mall. You’ve been in New York for seven years. Do you think you’ll ever go back to Oz?I’m going on Sunday! Eventually I’d like to settle down there, but who knows when that will be. What else is new with you?I have my much-awaited Vogue Australia cover coming out in December that we shot in Paris. I’m really excited about that. It will be my second, but it’s been awhile since I’ve done it.   Every girl’s dream?Yeah! Between walking in this and that, I’m on the right path.
