(NEW YORK) The bitter winter breeze nipped at the windows of La Perla’s Madison Ave. location, but inside it was a bit steamier. After all, they were hosting a cocktail party amidst a swish of lacy, yet festive, lingerie and playful bedroom toys. This wasn’t a totally hedonistic affair, though; it was an eve to benefit the New Yorkers for Children. Guests sipped fruity concoctions and snagged hors d’oeuvres off passed platters while purchasing lingerie sets.
The likes of Chelsea Leyland, Julie Macklowe, Berry Bloomingdale, Kilian Hennessy, Veronica Webb, Edward Barsamian, Kelly Rutherford, and Allison Aston were among the guilt-free shoppers. With all the festive cheer in the air, the lingerie label’s CEO Suzy Biszantz filled us in on her holiday plans: “I am going to Colorado with three children under the age of 4, so we are going to Vail and will be doing a little ski school.” Speaking of, we’d love to see a La Perla ski line…
