20 Shots From Gisele Bündchen’s Final Walk Down The Runway

by Eddie Roche

It’s not every day that one of the most famous models in the world hangs up her heels and walks in her last show, but yesterday Gisele Bündchen officially retired from the catwalk in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Colcci show. The 34-year-old took to Instagram to say farewell to her fans, writing: “I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.” Hubbie Tom Brady was there to watch his wife walk her last walk and during the finale models wore jeans and T-shirts with Bundchen’s image. She’s not leaving the industry entirely, though: Gisele still plans to work in campaigns and editorials, and we’re sure she’ll keep busy playing with the $47 million Forbes reports she earned last year. “If your cup is full, how are you going to put more into it?” she said in a television interview yesterday. “I’m emptying my cup so I can put more things into it.”
